Project Description
Snowflakes is an evocative SSAA piece with text by Longfellow, featuring a beautiful sparkling piano introduction followed by a Soprano solo which seems suspended in the crystalline air.
This work was written in winter 2005 during one of my composing holidays to Helsinki, Finland. As a “sunny climate” composer, I am totally fascinated by snow and ice!
