Project Description
The Squirrel reflects my affection for these frisky little creatures. I have become a squirrel lover – we don’t have them in my part of the world! I have chased them in London’s Hyde Park, Central Park in New York and again in Helsinki, all in search of that elusive photo! Here is a quirky SSA piece based on several short motifs, which provide a choral dialogue between the voice parts, culminating in a ‘snappity crackity’ ending!
The piece is available in two versions – for unison/solo voice and piano, and for SSA chorus and piano.
