Project Description
The Wind Speaks to Me – I have always wondered where the wind has been before I hear it or smell the scents it carries. This piece has a flowing harp-like quaver accompaniment, which carries the thoughts, melodies and moods of far away places. Beginning in unison with the main theme, it explores the tastes and sounds of the wind, finally developing into three-part harmonies.
The Wind Speaks to Me is well-suited to performance by a children’s choir, along with its companion piece Song of the Wind.
